Melbourneism operates on the soil of Merri-Bek which means 'rocky country' in Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung dialect & we proudly recognize the First Nations peoples as the original custodians of the lands in which we live on & call “Australia.”
We honor their deep connections to country, culture, and community - with gratitude and respect, we acknowledge Elders past, present, & emerging and stand in solidarity with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
